Our story standard
Sweetest Dreams stories should be bedtime-safe: warm, reassuring, age-aware and calmly resolved. We avoid frightening endings, intense peril, graphic violence, adult themes and content that is unsuitable for bedtime.
Approved base stories
For launch, personalised member stories are prepared from John-approved base stories. The system should not send unapproved on-the-fly base story content to parents.
If a matching approved base story is not available, the system should skip safely, flag the gap and wait for suitable approved content rather than improvising.
Personalisation boundaries
We use child story preferences to add gentle personal details, such as first name, age, story worlds, interests, family names or pets. Parents can tell us anything they want avoided.
Not advice or therapy
Sweetest Dreams is creative bedtime content, not medical advice, therapy, sleep-training, childcare advice or a substitute for professional support.
Parent review
Parents and guardians know their child best. We encourage parents to review story preferences, tell us about sensitive topics, and contact us if anything needs to be changed.
